The AAT3697 BatteryManager is a highly integrated single-cell lithium-ion/polymer battery charger IC designed to operate with AC adapter inputs. It requires a minimum number of external ponents. The AAT3697 precisely regulates battery charge voltage and current for 4.2V lithiumion/polymer battery cells. Adapter charge current rates can be programmed up to 2.0A. An active thermal management system regulates the fast charge constant current for all ambient temperature and input vs. output voltage conditions.
