AiT Semiconductor Inc. www.ait-ic.com A8169-020 LED BACKLIGHT DRIVER PFM/PWM MODE MAX. 3MHZ, VARIABLE FREQUENCY DESCRIPTION FEATURES The A8169-020 variable frequency step-up Converter  Up to 19V Output Voltage drives white LEDs with a constant current to provide  Wide Operation Range: 2V to 6V backlight in cell phones, PDAs, and other hand-held  Maximum 3MHz Operating Frequency devices. It features allowing series connection of the  PWM Dimming Control white LEDs so that the LED currents are identical for  Shutdown Current <1uA uniform brightness. An enable input can be pulsed  Current Limit Cycle-by-Cycle repeatedly to adjust LEDs brightness.
