DESCRIPTION
The Allegro ACS37600 is a linear sensor IC designed to be used in conjunction with a ferromagnetic core to provide a highly accurate current sensor suitable for industrial, mercial, and munications applications.
The device consists of a precise, low-offset, chopperstabilized Hall-effect front end. Magnetic flux orthogonal to the IC package surface is sensed by the integrated Hall and converted into a proportional voltage. A very wide sensitivity range allows current sensor module makers to use this IC for a <20 A or a >1000 A module.
A selectable bandwidth from 100 k Hz to >400 k Hz makes the device ideal for fast switching applications and applications where low noise is required.
A user-programmable, bidirectional reference voltage pin (VREF) enables constant monitoring of the zero-current voltage and easy interfacing with 3.3 V and 5 V ADCs.
The sensitivity and offset drift over temperature are factoryprogrammed at Allegro to provide a highly accurate solution across the full temperature range.
