General Description

The MAX96717 GMSL™ serializer receives video on an MIPI CSI-2 interface and outputs it on a GMSL2 serial link transceiver.

Simultaneously, it sends and receives bidirec­ tional control channel data across the same GMSL2 link.

GMSL2 data can be transported over Coaxial or Shield­ ed-Twisted Pair (STP) cables.

  • Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC), and Error Correction Code (ECC).
  • 16 Virt.
