General Description

The BP1360 is a continuous conduction mode inductive step-down converter, designed for driving single or multiple series connected LEDs efficiently from a voltage source higher than the total LEDs chain voltage.

Using a few external components, BP1360 provides a high cost effective solution to the following applications: MR16 LEDs cup lighting, LEDs stage lighting, LEDs automotive lighting, LEDs solar lighting and LEDs Street lighting.

The device operates from an input supply between 5V and 30V and the nominal average output current is set by an external current sense resistor.
