The BM2490 is a monolithic step-down switch mode con verter wi th a prog rammable output current limit. It achieves 2.5A continuous output curren t o ve r a wid e in put suppl y ran ge wi th e xcellent load and line regulation. Th e ma ximum ou tp ut curren t ca n b e programmed b y sensing curren t thro ugh an accura te sense resistor.
