General Description

The EMC5046 is a complete linear charger for two-cell lithium-ion batteries.

With E-SOP-8 packages and few external components, EMC5046 is well suited for portable applications.

  •   Programmable charge current up to 1.0A No MOSFET, sense resistor or blocking diode required Complete linear charger in E-SOP-8 for two-cell li-ion batteries No external sense resistor and blocking diode are required. Charging current can be programmed externally with a single resistor. The built-in thermal regulation facilitates charging with maximum power without risk of overheating.  Thermal regulation maximizes charge rate without risk of overheating  Preset 8.4V charge voltage wit.
