ISSUED DATE :2005/06/20 REVISED DATE :2005/12/13B GI78M XX Description 3-TERMINAL POSITIVE VOLTAGE REGULATOR The G I78MXX series of three-terminal positive regulators are available in the TO-252 package and with 5V, 6V, 8V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 18V and 24V fixed output voltages, making it useful in a wide range of applications. These regulators can provide local on-card regulation, eliminating the distribution problems associated with single point regulation. Each type employs internal current limiting, thermal shut-down and safe operating area protection, making it essentially indestructible.
