Operating with an input voltage range from 8V to 30V, the HX1304F achieves 2.5A continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation. The switching frequency is programmable from 100 k Hz to 500 k Hz and the synchronous architecture provides for highly efficient designs. Current mode operation provides fast transient response and eases loop stabilization. The HX1304F requires a minimum number of readily available standard external ponents. Other features include cable pensation, programmable current limit and thermal shutdown. The HX1304F converters are available in the industry standard SOP-8L packages.
