Description
These bi-directional dual channel optoisolators, packaged in an industry standard SOIC-8 package, provide full duplex and bi-directional isolated data transfer and munication capability in a pact surface mount package. These optoisolators contain two pairs of emitters and detectors packaged in a unique configuration to allow simultaneous, isolated, bi-directional transmit and receive capability in a single package. Separate photo-detector and output stage allows a speed performance hundreds of times faster than a conventional phototransistor coupler by minimizing the base-collector capacitance and charge storage effects.
