DESCRIPTION The MP2303A is a monolithic synchronous buck regulator. The device integrates a 150mΩ O high-side MOSFET and a 80mΩ low-side F MOSFET that provide 3A continuous load current over a wide operating input voltage of 4.7V to 28V. Current mode control provides fast D transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limit. E An adjustable soft-start prevents inrush current at turn-on. In shutdown mode, the supply D current drops to lower than 1μA. N S 8 This device, available in an 8-pin SOIC and PDIP-8 packages, provides a very pact E N 3 system solution with minimal reliance on MM SIG P23 external ponents.
