Features The MAP8802 is an active power factor correction (PFC) controller for boost PFC applications that operates in critical conduction mode (CRM) In CRM operation, the on time is constant during the ac line cycle and the off time varies with the instantaneous input voltage. The voltage mode CRM PFC controller does not need the input voltage sense line. It can reduce power loss.
