MAX5079 Overview
Description
The MAX5079 ORing MOSFET controller replaces ORing diodes in high-reliability redundant, parallel-connected power supplies. Despite their low forward-voltage drop, ORing Schottky diodes cause excessive power dissipation at high currents.
