The MLX10801 is a multi-purpose LED driver for high power LEDs designed for automotive applications.

A lot of adjustment possibilities allow for the design of different LED applications using only a few external components.

The circuit is load dump protected for a 40V load dump pulse.

MLX10801 is offered in 2 package options: SOIC8 and MLPD8 5x5. The MLPD8 5x5 package option allows to take out a higher peak and average current than the SOIC8 package option LED.
