The MIC2073/2074 are high-side MOSFET switches optimized for general-purpose power distribution requiring circuit protection. The MIC2073/2074 are internally current limited and have thermal shutdown for protecting the device and load. The MIC2074 offers “smart” shutdown that reduces current consumption in fault mode. When a fault occurs due to thermal shutdown, the output is latched off. The MIC2074s’ output will be reset, enabling the output, either by removing the load or toggling the ENABLE.
