MCS9835 Description
The MCS9835 is a PCI based dual-channel high performance UART with enhanced bi-directional parallel controller. The MCS9835 offers 16-Byte transmit and receive FIFOs for each UART channel and a 16-Byte FIFO for the printer channel. The MCS9835 performs serial-to-parallel conversions on data received from a peripheral device, and parallel-to-serial conversions on data received from its CPU.
