F EATU RES PIN CONFIGURATION The I'PD782 is an LSI Dot Matrix Printer Controller chip which contains all the circuitry and control functions for interfacing an 8-bit processor to the Epson Model 210,220 and 240 Dot Matrix Printers.
These printers are capable of printing up to 3,1 col umns per row with 7 x 7 dot matri x.
The I'PD782 is ideally suited for low-cost Electronic Cash Registers (ECR) and Point of Sale (POS) systems because it frees the processor from direct control of the printer and simplifies 110 software.
