To increase the lifetime of batteries, a specially built-in clamp circuit keeps the quiescent current of this regulator.
The TDA3668AT is a fixed 5 V voltage regulator with a very low dropout voltage and quiescent current, which operates over a wide supply voltage range. The regulator should use a supply voltage of VP ≤ 50 V. It has a temperature range of −40 °C ≤ Tamb.
