Integrated into a single chip are ROM, RAM, crystal oscillator, voltage doubler, timer, melody circuit, LCD driver, input port, and output port. Using the on-chip ROM for application code reduces power consumption. The MSM6051 is widely used in electronic products requiring low-power operation, such as stopwatches with lap time memory, calculator watches, and handy terminals.
