By controlling this driver with a microcontroller, it is used in applications such as character display and simple graphic display etc.

This driver can drive a LCD panel of up to 3,200 dots (16  16 dot font: 1-line display of up to 12 digits and 128 segments, 5  7 dot font: 2-line display of up to 40 digits).
