The NCP1526 is a monolithic integrated circuit bining a step- down PWM DC- DC converter and a low noise, low dropout voltage regulator. The device is dedicated to power RF sensitive module in portable applications from one Li- ion or three Alkaline / NiCd / NiMH batteries cells. The DC- DC converter offers fixed output voltage and delivers up to 400 mA. It uses synchronous rectification to increase efficiency and eliminates the external Schottky diode.
