When connected to a 12 V, 5 V or 3.3 V power rail, it is able to limit the inrush current, detect input voltage faults and short-circuit conditions and signal these events via a Power Good output. The low RDSON value of the integrated MOSFET guarantees these conditions and low power dissipation during normal operation. The device is available in a DFN12 leads 3 x 3 mm.
