APPLICATIONS
The Stratos Lightwave SM7012-Cxx GBIC (Giga Bit Interface Converter) connectors provide interconnection solutions for all of the standard GBIC implementations per SFF 8053 rev 5.2a for switch, server, disk drive and other short range and long range data munications applications.
These GBIC guide rails are suitable for Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet and other GBIC applications as defined in the SFF 8053 document.
