These GBIC guide rails are suitable for Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet and other GBIC applications as defined in the SFF 8053 document. The integral ESD ground strap and alignment system enables blind mating, hot plugging and provides a secure connection path to system / chassis ground. Stratos offers horizontal or vertical GBIC connector mounting options. Stratos offers a plete line of GBIC modules and guide rails for optical fiber and copper cable media interfaces.
