INTRODUCTION The TL0324S is a driver and controller LSI for graphic dot-matrix liquid crystal display systems. It contains 65 common and 132 segment driver circuits. This chip is connected directly to a microprocessor (MPU), accepts serial or 8-bit parallel display data and stores in an on-chip Display Data RAM (DDRAM) of 65 x 132 bits. It provides a high-flexible display section due to one to one correspondences between on-chip DDRAM bits and LCD panel pixels. And it performs DDRAM read / write operation with no externally operating clock to minimize power consumption.
