The VSC7226 comprises a family of four, quad 8-bit, parallel-to-serial and serial-to-parallel transceiver chips, any of which is ideal for high bandwidth interconnection between busses, backplanes, or other subsystems.
The device’s four, Gigabit Ethernet-compliant transceiver variants each provide over 20Gb/s of duplex raw data transfer.
Each of the devices, the VSC7226-01, the VSC7226-02, the VSC7226-05, and the VSC7226-06, provides advantages specially attuned to unique application requirements.
