DESCRIPTION The positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater element provides voltage pensation over a wide voltage range without danger of over-heating at high voltage. It is self-current limiting, and assures device actuation under low voltage conditions. The PTC has a unique feature of always stabilizing temperature, regardless of ambient temperature or voltage range.
