General Description

TPS40170 is a full-featured, synchronous PWM buck controller that operates at an input voltage between 4.5 V and 60 V and is optimized for VIN ENABLE 1 ENABLE 20 UVLO 2 SYNC 3 M/S VIN 19 BOOT 18 4 RT HDRV 17 TRK 5 SS SW 16 TPS40170 6 TRK VBP 15 7 FB LDRV 14 8 COMP PGND 13 9 AGND VDD 10 ILIM 12 PGOOD 11 VOUT GND Simplified Application high-power density, high-reliability DC-DC converter applications.

The controller implements voltage-mode control with input voltage feed-forward compensation that enables instant response to input voltage change.

The switching frequency is programmable from 100 kHz to 600 kHz.
