Description

The UCC28070A device is an extended frequency range derivative of the UCC28070 device, capable of operating at low switching frequencies desired for IGBT power-switch based PFC converters in highpower applications.

Features

of the UCC28070 device are also available in the UCC28070A device. The 180° out-of-phase interleaved operation generates substantial reduction in input and output ripple currents and conducted EMI filtering becomes easier and less expensive. Like the UCC28070 device, the UCC28070A device also features multiple innovations including current synthesis and quantized voltage feedforward to promote performance enhancements in PF, efficiency, THD, and transient response.
