Avago Technologies' APDS-9306/APDS-9306-065 is a lowvoltage Digital Ambient Light Sensor that converts light ofphotodiode,ADC,oscillatorandpower-onresettoensure consistent start-up. ADCs convert the photodiode currents to a digital output and the device is capable of rejecting 50Hz and 60Hz flicker caused by artificial light sources.
