Description
The MP3366 is a step-up converter with 6channel current sources designed to drive white LED arrays for backlighting in mid- to largesized LCD panels.
Features
- mixed digital PWM dimming and analog dimming with a 25% PWM duty cycle as a transfer point. The mix-dimming strategy helps to improve the dimming ratio. The MP3366 switches the PWM input signal from 100Hz to 20kHz to 23.5kHz to 29.5kHz automatically to eliminate audible noise. Full protection features include recoverable over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), and short and open protection of any string on the LED.
