Features for Residential and C&I Smart Meters Description The Microchip SAM4CM series represents a family of system-on-chip solutions for residential and polyphase metering applications. The devices offer up to class 0.2 metrology accuracy over a dynamic range of 3000:1 within the industrial temperature range and are pliant with ANSI C12.20-2002 and IEC 62053-22 standards. A seamless extension of Microchip’s SAM4, SAM4CP and SAM4C family of microcontrollers and solutions for smart grid security and munications applications, these metrology-enabled devices offer an unprecedented level of integration and flexibility with dual 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4 RISC processors running at a maximum speed of 120 MHz each(1), up to 2 Mbytes of embedded Flash, 304 Kbytes of SRAM and on-chip cache.
