The PNX7100 is a single-chip MPEG-2 audio and video encoder and decoder with associated multiplexing and demultiplexing functionality, targeted for digital recording systems. The PNX7100 has a unified memory architecture that allows the MPEG subsystem, graphics and CPU to share the external SDRAM. E.
