R5432V SERIES 3 to 5 Cells Li-ion Battery Protector IC NO.EA-263-1600711 OUTLINE The R5432V is a high voltage CMOS-based protection IC for overcharge /discharge of rechargeable three-cell / four-cell / fivecell Lithium-ion / Lithium- polymer battery, further include a short circuit and the protection circuits against the excess discharge current and excess charge current. Each of these ICs is composed of eighteen voltage detectors (fourteen for 3cell protection type, sixteen for 4cell protection type), a reference circuit, a delay circuit, a short detector circuit, an oscillator, a counter and a logic circuit. The output of COUT is P-channel open-drain type, and DOUT is CMOS type.
