GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Dropout voltage is also very low, typically 200mV. In addition, the device has an over-temperature protection circuit which will shut down the LDO regulator during extended over-current events. The AAT3200 is available in a space-saving, Pbfree SC59 or SOT-89 package (for applications requiring increased power dissipation). The device is rated over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range. Since only a small, 1µF ceramic output capacitor is required, the AAT3200 is a truly cost-effective voltage conversion solution. The AAT3201 is a similar product for this application, especially when a shutdown mode is required for further power savings.FEATURES
