S-8250A Series www.ablicinc.com © ABLIC Inc., 2013-2016 BATTERY PROTECTION IC WITH DISCHARGE CONTROL FUNCTION FOR 1-CELL PACK Rev.1.3_03 The S-8250A Series is a protection IC for 1-cell lithium-ion / lithium polymer rechargeable batteries and includes high-accuracy voltage detection circuits and delay circuits. The S-8250A Series is suitable for protecting 1-cell lithium-ion / lithium polymer rechargeable battery packs from overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, and controlling discharge by external signal. By adjusting power supply voltage dependency of discharge overcurrent detection voltage in accordance with ON resistance of the charge-discharge control FET, the S-8250A Series realizes high-accuracy discharge overcurrent detection.
