Description
The ASSR-32X X S eries c onsists of an Al G a As infrar ed light-emitting diode (LED) input stage optically coupled to a high-v oltage output det ector circuit. The detector consists of a high-speed phot ovoltaic diode arra y and driver circuitry to switch on/off t wo discrete high v oltage MOSFETs. The relay turns on (contact closes) with a minimum input current of 3m A thr ough the input LED. The relay turns off (contact opens) with an input voltage of 0.8V or less. The single channel configurations, ASSR-3210 and ASSR3211, ar e equivalent t o 1 F orm A Elec tromechanical Relays (EMR), and the dual channel configuration, ASSR3220, is equivalent t o 2 Form A EMR. They are available in 4-pin SO , 6-pin DIP, 8-pin DIP and Gull Wing Sur face Mount for DIP pack ages. Their electrical and swit ching characteristics are specified over the temperature range of -40°C t o +85°C. They ar e used f or general purpose switching of signals and low power AC/DC loads.
