The IC stores and decodes7bitASCIIdataanddisplaysitwithaneasytoread5x7 font.Multi-plexingcircuitryanddriversareincludedintheIC to allow the display to interface simply with bus-based microprocessor systems. The address and data inputs of the display can be directly connected to the microprocessor address and data buses. These displays are related to the HDLX-2416 family, and thus share the same enhancements over the HPDL-2416 segmented displays.
