Overview
The AIC-6360 is a single chip PC-AT® bus to SCSI bus host adapter designed to bring the power and connectivity of SCSI to the puter system motherboard. This chip provides all of the functionality needed to implement a SCSI-2 bus in one 68-pin PLCC, 80-pin QFP or 100-pin TQFP package. Embedding the AIC-6360 increases reliability, reduces cost and eliminates the need for a traditional host adapter card. This makes the AIC-6360 an ideal I/O solution for high performance, single-user desktop and portable systems.
