The semiconductors and chip capacitors are protected with an epoxy encapsulation on the top side of the ceramic substrate. These products are manufactured using Aeroflex/Metelics proven diode fabrication and assembly processes which optimize diode characteristics for optimal electrical performance and excellent reliability.
