The A5939/A5949 three phase motor controller incorporates sinusoidal drive to minimize audible noise and vibration for high power fans.

For A5949, The motor speed is controlled by applying a Duty cycle mand to the SPD input The SPD input is allowed to operate over a wide frequency range. For the A5939, speed is controlled with analog voltage in range 250mv to 2.5V.
