The A80803 is a switch-mode, constant-current DC/DC controller for high-power LED automotive lighting applications.

Features

  • Wide 5 to 37 V input voltage range.
  • 40 V absolute maximum for load dump.
  • 4.5 V UVLO falling for idle stop.
  • Wide output voltage, up to 70 V OVP rating.
  • Single-ended topology controller with internal gate drivers for low-side and high-side external MOSFETs.
  • Topology options including boost and buck-boost.
  • Unique topology changeover option for high/low beam.
  • Unique slew rate control to minimize current overshoot/undershoot dur.
