Integrated Energy Efficient Off-line Switcher IC Description Features The BPA8504D is a high-performance switcher integrated - Integrated 700V power MOSFET circuits with low standby consumption. The BPA8504D can be easily configured as buck, buck-boost, or flyback topologies for universal AC inputs. The BPA8504D integrates a 700V power MOSFET, a high- l voltage current source for self-biasing, a current sensing circuit, and an advanced controller. External loop tia pensation ponents can be mostly eliminated, which reduces cost and size of overall power systems, and meantime achieves high reliability. The BPA8504D employs advanced multi-mode control n algorithm. As a result, the no-load power consumption and average efficiency of the power systems have been e improved and audible noise is reduced. The BPA8504D Features prehensive protections, fid including short circuit protection (SCP), output over voltage protection (OVP), over load protection (OLP), FB open loop protection, cycle-by-cycle current limit, and over temperature protection (OTP). n The BPA8504D is available for SOP-7 package as shown below.
