BPSEMI Thermal Regulation Standalone Linear Li-Ion Charger with General Description The BP13504 is a p lete linear charger for single cell lithium-ion bat teries. With small TDFN10 Features Programmable charge current up to 1.2A No MOSFET, sense resistor or blocking diode required plete linear charger in TDFN-10 for single cell li-ion batteries Thermal regulation maximizes charge rate without risk of overheating package and few external ponents, BP13504 is well suited for portable applications. In addition, the BP13504 is specific ally designed t o work within USB power specifications. No ext ernal s ense resist or and bl ocking d iode are required. Charging cu rrent can be programmed Thermistor input for temperature qualified charging externally wi th a sin gle r esistor. T he b uilt-in th ermal regulation facilitates charging with maximum power without risk of overheating. Charges single cell Li-ion batteries directly from USB port. Preset 4.2V charge voltage with ̈́1% accuracy The BP13504 always preconditions the battery with 1/10 of t he program med charge cu rrent at the Automatic recharge Charge status indicator C/10 charge termination Battery reverse leakage current less than 1u A beginning of a charge cycle, after it verifies that the battery can be fast -charged. The BP13504 automatically te rminates the c harge c ycle w hen the charge current drops to 1/10th the programmed value after the final float voltage is reached.
