DESCRIPTION
These dual-channel optocouplers contain a pair of lightemitting diodes and integrated photodetectors with electrical insulation between the input and the output. A separate connection for the photodiode bias and the output transistor collectors increases the speed up to a hundred times that of a conventional phototransistor coupler by reducing the basecollector capacitance. These dual-channel optocouplers are available in an 8-pin DIP and in an industry-standard SO-8 package.
