General Description

The CAT6613 is a high-performance HDMI 1.3 transmitter, fully compliant with HDMI 1.3, HDCP 1.2 and backward compatible to DVI 1.0 specifications.

The CAT6613 supports color depth of up to 36 bits (12 bits/color) and ensures robust transmission of high-quality uncompressed video content, along with state-of-the-art uncompressed and compressed digital audio content such as DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD in DVD/HD-DVD/Bluray players and settop boxes.

Aside from the various video output formats supported, the CAT6613 also encodes and transmits up to 8 channels of I2S digital audio, with sampling rate up to 192kHz and sample size up to 24 bits.
