Description The PLA134 is a 1-Form-A solid state relay which uses optically coupled Mos FET technology to provide 3750V of input to output isolation. The efficient Mos FET switches and photovoltaic die use Clare’s patented Opto MOS® architecture. The optically-coupled input is controlled by a highly efficient Ga AIAs infrared LED. The PLA134’s bination of low on resistance and high load current handling makes it suitable for a variety of industrial applications. Because solid state relays have no moving parts, they can offer faster, bounce-free switching in a more pact surface mount or through hole package than traditional electromechanical relays.
