Description

The DIO5508 is a complete constant-current / constant voltage linear charger for single cell Lithium-Ion batteries.

No external sense resistor is needed, and no blocking diode is required due to the internal MOSFET architecture.

Over Voltage Lockout Protection.
Under Voltage Lockout Protection.
Reverse current protection between BAT and GND pins.
Automatic Recharge Threshold 4.05V (Typ. ).
Charge Status Output Pin.

Battery Temperature Monitoring.
Chip Enable Input.
Soft-Start Limits Inrush Current.
Available in EP-SOIC8 and EP-MSOP8 packages.
