Description

The AP3154A and AP3156  are charge pump LED drivers  for small LCD screen  backlighting.

They are well  suited for LCD screens less  than 3”.

Both use a tri‐mode charge  pump switch (1X), fractional (1.5X), and doubling (2X)  conversion to maximize  efficiency in white LED  applications.

NPA Number 001 www.DataSheet4U.com Announcement New Product AP3154A/56 Small LCD screen backlighting charge pump LED drivers Description The AP3154A and AP3156  are charge pump LED drivers  for small LCD screen  backlighting. They are well  suited for LCD screens less  than 3”. Both use a tri‐mode charge  pump switch (1X), fractional (1.5X), and doubling (2X)  conversion to maximize  efficiency in white LED  applications. A low external parts count  (two 1μF flying and two  small 1μF capacitors at VIN and VOUT) make them ideally  suited for small, battery‐ powered applications. A serial digital interface is  used to enable, disable and  set current for each LED with  a 32‐level logarithmic scale  plus four low‐current  settings i  down d  to 50μA f for  optimized efficiency..
