ADVANCE DATA SHEET n AC206 2.5V 10/100-TX 5-Port Repeater/4+1 Uplink Port with Bridge Controller GENERAL DESCRIPTION The AC206 is a 5-port 10/100Mbps integrated repeater with a bridge controller. The AC206 provides a low cost, integrated solution for unmanaged repeater applications. The AC206 is a Class II Repeater that is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards. The device provides five 10/100 Mbps copper media ports. In addition, the 5th port supports a 10/100 TX interface for uplink functionality. The AC206 also provides one selectable MII/7-wire interface. The MII/ 7-wire interface can be connected to a MAC or a Switch for managed repeater stack or hybrid Switch/Repeater Applications. The AC206 provides 10/100 Mbps auto-negotiation and parallel detection for all ports.
